For Students & Early-Stage Researchers

EOSAM 2025 offers various exciting programs to help students and early-stage researchers advance their careers, including networking events that provide direct opportunities to connect with researchers, industry leaders, and mentors, helping students build meaningful professional relationships. In 2025, EOSAM is collaborating with 360 CARLA, a photonics career hub, to provide students and researchers with the training, mentorship, and insights needed to excel in the photonics field and be better prepared for future career success.

KICKSTART YOUR CAREER IN PHOTONICS

Join the EOSAM exhibition to meet potential employers, explore job opportunities, and gain insights into the industry landscape. EARLY-STAGE RESEARCHER SESSION (ESRS)

Designed specifically for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in the first four years of their research careers, the ESRS provides an opportunity for participants to present preliminary research and engage with peers. This session encourages early-stage professionals to share their ideas, receive feedback, and discuss challenges in their work. Unlike EOSAM Topical Meetings, this session is focused on early, unpublished research that isn't yet ready for formal oral presentations but is still valuable for discussion and development.
