FOURTH PLENARY SPEAKER ANNOUNCED!

We are thrilled to welcome Nathalie Picqué (Max-Born Institute, Humboldt University of Berlin) as a plenary speaker at EOSAM 2025! Her research interests are in the areas of optics and molecular physics, more particularly in interferometry, precision spectroscopy and laser technology. Her talk on "Frequency Comb Interferometry," will provide a short introduction to optical frequency combs and will survey dual-comb interferometry and its latest exciting developments.

FIFTH TUTORIAL SPEAKER ANNOUNCED!

We are delighted to announce Simon Horsley (University of Exeter) as the fifth tutorial speaker at EOSAM 2025! In his tutorial, "Topology, Waves, and the Refractive Index," he will examine the application of topology to problems in wave physics and discuss a physical interpretation for the Chern number, based on the idea that the critical points which it records can be understood as points where the refractive index vanishes.

We’re pleased to welcome Pablo Artal (University of Murcia) as our next plenary speaker at EOSAM 2025!  His talk on "Two-Photon Infrared Vision" will discuss their recent investigations into TPA-mediated vision, including its impact on visual acuity and color perception. His presentation will provide an overview of their key findings, the methodologies employed, and the broader impact of TPA vision research and applications.

His talk on "Digital Holographic Microscopy in overlay metrology for the semiconductor industry" will present an overview of the status of their research on DHM. He will explain the underlying concept and present some first experimental data that demonstrate the potential benefit for overlay metrology.

We’re pleased to welcome Martijn Anthonissen (Eindhoven University of Technology) as our next tutorial speaker! He is part of one of the few mathematics groups worldwide working on optical design problems from illumination optics. His tutorial, "Computational Illumination Optics," will outline how to model optical systems mathematically and how to compute numerical solutions of the resulting equations.
