Early Stage Researcher Session

Synopsis

This session is specially designed for participants in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and who have not been awarded a doctoral degree. We encourage PhD students to express their ideas and describe their scientific achievements to the conference audience. 

In contrast to the EOSAM Topical meetings, this session is thus designed to allow participants to present the preliminary status of their work, preliminary work not sufficiently accomplished for being an oral presentation in a TOM session, and not yet deserving a published contribution in the conference proceedings. It covers all topics in optics and photonics. 

The objective is to share and develop ideas, to exchange and discuss the possible issues, find help from peers, around a research work.  

The contributions in this session will  be selected by the chairs (invitations sent to selected authors by chairs) among the submitted and accepted posters at EOSAM, and will not be published in the conference proceedings under this session but under posters respectively. They will nevertheless be announced in the conference program under posters and in this session as an oral presentation.
