Synopsis
This is the first TOM wholly dedicated to optoelectronic nanotechnologies, also including the study of phenomena occurring in complex media and systems, such as aperiodic nanostructures. The Conference covers a spectrum of topics, from basic to applied research, providing a wide forum to exchange knowledge, with the purpose of advancing the state-of-the-art of nanoscale opto-electronics, also looking at the smart integration of photonic devices with electronics and sensing components. These emerging technologies find wide applications in the fields of ICT, health, energy harvesting, food and agritech, environmental monitoring, aerospace and automotive. In fact, they allow the realization of new bio-chemical and physical nanosensors, biochips and lab-on-chips, classical and quantum opto-electronic integrated devices and systems. Biomimetic nanotechnologies, new characterization methods for nanomaterials and devices, novel imaging techniques, original photonic systems for light manipulation at sub-micron and nano scale are also hot topics of the conference.
