The European Optical Society Annual meeting (EOSAM) is a major international scientific conference with an exhibition and industrial program.
In 2020, due to the Corona virus, the event will be held in an online form during 7-11 September, 2020, with published proceedings.
EOSAM was established specifically to provide a platform for experts in the field of optics and photonics, bringing forth new research results, the state of the art, and bridging the gap between research, education, and industry. EOSAM is annually attended by top researchers, key leaders, students and industry experts.

We want to provide the sessions for viewing even after the conference week is over.

Dear EOSAM participant,
As you know, the situation with Covid-19 impacts the in-person events this year. Even though we hope the situation to be better in September, we do not want to risk the safety of our participants and their families. Thus, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person meeting in Porto.
However, we want to support our researchers and will provide a platform for authors to publish their research (all topics included). All accepted abstracts will be published in the online conference proceedings in September.
As this year is exceptional, and it is hardly possible to get new scientific findings published fast, to help the researchers, we extended the
submission deadline until 10 June 2020.
Normal review process is included, and all submitted and accepted papers will be published in the EOSAM online proceedings, open access, in the Web of Sciences, with DOI and indexation to CrossRef®.
In addition, online presentations will be provided to all registered attendees. Attendee registration is now open.
The EOS Annual General Assembly (AGA) will be held as an online meeting, and all EOS members will receive detailed information on the meeting shortly.
We hope to see you all in person at the EOSAM next year, in Paris, France, 6-10 September 2021.
